National Magazine's Annual Industry Survey Reaffirms Company’s Commitment to Establishing a National Presence Through Exceptional Customer Service
MANCHESTER, N.H. – December 1, 2010 – Retirement Alliance, Inc., an established retirement services provider since 1994, has earned “Best in Class” honors in PLANSPONSOR magazine’s recently released 2010 Annual Defined Contribution Survey. Retirement Alliance serves the 50- to 2,500-participant ($1-25m) plan market space exclusively through RIAs, TPAs, financial advisors and other intermediary partners.
Scoring in the top quartile for overall sponsor services in its category, only one of the 45 providers who participated in this year’s survey earned a higher percentage of clients who would be “extremely likely to recommend” their vendor. More than 98 percent of Retirement Alliance clients who participated in the survey stated they would be “likely” to recommend the firm to other employers and nearly 88 said they would be “extremely likely” to do so.
Retirement Alliance was rated “Best in Class” in the areas of staff consistency, service team responsiveness, account team knowledge, legislative and regulatory updates, compliance support and testing and Form 5500 processing.
Chief Marketing Officer Alan Valença stated, “As a well-established boutique firm with a national reach, we offer a high-tech, high-touch service environment that results from our cultural commitment to being client-centric in all that we do. These results affirm our position as a ‘white glove’ service provider and paint a vivid picture of the type of client experience we strive to provide to every client, every single day.”
Valença pointed out, “Retirement Alliance has attained a leadership position within the industry; the survey provided our firm with an opportunity to benchmark our programs against other providers. More than anything, the results reaffirm our mission to help plan sponsors and their employees fully understand, appreciate and benefit from their companies’ retirement programs.”
The results corroborate other finding from an independent client satisfaction survey that Retirement Alliance conducted earlier this year. In the independent survey, 86 percent of the firm’s clients expressed high levels of satisfaction with their relationship with Retirement Alliance.
Noted Valença, “Combined, these results confirm that our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is hitting the target. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are actively rolling out several new service offerings that include electronic participant statements (‘e-statements’); an interactive, video-based SmartPlan EnterpriseSM participant education and communication system; and mobile phone applications that will empower our participants to access and manage their accounts while they are ‘on-the-go.’ We are confident that these and other planned service enhancements will continue to increase overall satisfaction with the Retirement Alliance experience.”
